Iona Golf Opens the Season at the Doc Gimmler

FARMINGDALE, NY – Iona Men's Golf team kicked off the 2023 fall season once again at Bethpage state park on Long Island. The Gaels teed off the red course, playing at 7,092 yards and a par 70. Participating in the Doc Gimmler hosted by St. John's University for the third year in a row and sixth time in the past eight years. The Doc Gimmler is a 54-hole event with two rounds played today and the final 18 holes played tomorrow.
