Jets Finish 19th at Natural State Golf Classic

CABOT, Ark. – The Newman Men's Golf started their 2021 season in Cabot, Arkansas competing in the Natural State Golf Classic on March 1st and 2nd. The Jets would finish 19th, shooting a combined 157 over par. Arkansas Tech would win the team part of the tournament shooting a combined even.  Ty Wilson would be Newman's best scorer finishing T79th and shooting 26 over par on the tournament and improving upon his first round by 14 strokes.  Josh McNulty of Henderson State would win the individual part of the tournament shooting 4 under par, one stroke ahead of 2nd place Henry Frizzell of Arkansas Tech.
