Lizzy Stone captures first place in Benedictine event as women's golf season concludes

Downers Grove, Ill. — Lizzy Stone earned another individual competition triumph on Monday afternoon, as the Wheaton women's golf team's season concluded with the Benedictine Triangular event in Downers Grove. Matched up against Elmhurst and North Central, as well as individual golfers from the host school, the Thunder finished second place in the event with a team score of 350, a comfortable 12 strokes ahead of third-placed North Central.
