Lopez's Golden Goal Lifts Men's Soccer Back into Third Place

SAN MARCOS – Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer is back in the win column. And it was needed more than ever. Six minutes into overtime, Michael McKibbin had a fastbreak that was broken up by Cal State San Marcos goalkeeper Jesus Mentado inside the box, but a charging Taetum Lopez fired a one-touch shot into an unmanned goal that ricocheted off the crossbar and bounced into the net for a 2-1 overtime win Sunday afternoon.
