Mavericks Finish Third at Holiday Inn Express Classic

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — The Minnesota State men's golf team shot a 283 – the best round in the field today – en route to registering a third-place finish at the Holiday Inn Express Classic hosted by Missouri Western State University.  The Mavericks were paced by senior Ben Laffen who shot a five-under 66, his lowest round as a Maverick, en route to his fourth-place finish of 72-68-66—206, which was seven under par.
