Men’s Golf 16th after First Day of NCAA Atlantic/East Regional

VICTOR, N.Y. (May 5, 2022) — The Franklin Pierce University men’s golf team opened its fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship on Thursday, with the first of three rounds at the Atlantic/East Regional, hosted by Le Moyne, at the par-72, 7083-yard Ravenwood Golf Club. Junior Michael Sosik (Fiskdale, Mass.) led the way for the Ravens with an even-par 72 in the first round, and is currently tied-11th in a 108-player field. As a team, Franklin Pierce turned in a 306 (+18), and is 16th out of 20 teams through 18 holes.
