Men's Golf Finishes Opening Day Of Spring Championship

HERSHEY, PA  – The Utica University men's golf team finished up first round play at the Empire 8 Spring Championships on Friday. The Pioneers shot a 76-over-par total of 356 strokes in the first round of the spring championship, good for the fourth-best round in Friday's action at the Hershey Country Club East Course. The scores of the Fall and Spring championships will be combined to determine the final standings. Utica has a three-round total of 985 strokes, which has them in third position. They are 35 strokes off the lead heading into the final round.
