[Men's Golf] Malik Edd chooses the Sea Beggars

On National Signing Day (Feb 3, 2021), Malik Edd made his decision and hopes to one day leave his mark on the Sea Beggar golf program.  Malik chose Providence over another school where he was given the opportunity to play football and golf.  In the end, he felt like dedication to golf was his preferred path.  A hard decision indeed, given his immense talents for both sports!  Coach Ault said, "We are honored that Malik chose to play for Providence, anytime you get an athlete with his potential, you know it's a big day for the program.  Malik had a choice and he chose Providence.  So, we are coaches are gonna choose to give him our best during his time at Providence Christian." Here is what Malik had to say about National Signing Day, with his golf and football coaches present in the picture.  "Signing day was a great experience! Being able to sign alongside my football teammates was a milestone we never knew would come so fast. I knew that playing two sports in college would be tough. So when I finally dedicated myself to being consistent in one sport, Providence immediately was my favorite. I can't express how blessed and grateful I am to be a part of the Sea Beggar Family! I'm looking forward to these next 4 years of growing in faith, being a great student, and becoming a better golfer."  I know Malik and his family are thrilled and so are we!
