[Men's Golf] Providence Signs Leland Oliver – Golf and Soccer Player

It's never too late for a good thing to happen.  At the last minute Providence Men's Golf team and Soccer team adds Leland Oliver.  A local from the Pasadena area, who Coach Ault had the pleasure to coach in years past at Maranatha High School.  Leland had a last second change of heart and decided Providence Christian College was the best place to grow academically, spritually, and physically as an athlete.  Leland will be a welcomed addition to the Men's Golf team especially, being the 5th and final member to this year's team.  Coach Ault commented, "Leland is a natural athlete, when he showed interest in our school, I knew immediatly that he would be a great addition to the program.  He is easy to be around and seems to be always smiling.  His talent will speak for itself on the field."  Coach Walker and the soccer team also warmly welcome his talents as a soccer player.  Leland was a standout outside back at Maranatha School, where both coaches Sam Mahtani and Walker Haynes help Leland develop into a well rounded and intellegent soccer player.  He will be a nice addition to a men's soccer team that is poised to do exciting things this year on the pitch.
