Men's Golf: Seawolves Hold on to Top-5 Finish at Pioneer Shootout, Happy Places t-10th Individually

ALAMEDA, CALIF. – On Tuesday, March 12th, the Sonoma State men's golf team continued their momentum after a 4th place finish last week at the Nighthawks Invitational and placed 5th at the annual Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout. The Seawolves put together one of their best single round performances of the season with an opening 280 (-8) Monday morning. Four of the team's starting five finished the first round under par to launch them into 2nd place. They would drop 7 strokes in the afternoon round on Monday but remain alone in 2nd place at 9-under-par.
