Men's Golf Wraps Up Regular Season in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Shenandoah University 'A' and 'B' teams competed at the Glen Heath Memorial Tournament hosted by the Apprentice School in Williamsburg, Va. at Williamsburg Country Club.  Williamsburg is a par 72 course playing 6,745 yards from the tips.  After day one, the 'A' squad was in the lead with 11 over 299 while the 'B' squad was tied for 8th with Southern Virginia with a team score of 315 which was 27 over par.  Caden Sherman led after day one for the Hornets with his +1 73 for the 'A' while JD Williams led the way for the 'B' team with +4 76.  For the overall tournament for the Hornets, Ben Gray was the top finisher with 149 which put him in a tie for 5th place and just four strokes off the lead.
