Men’s Golfer Yadhu Urs has Strong Showing at 89th West Virginia Open Championship

Wheeling, W. Va. – The 2021-2022 season was a year of growth for the Wheeling University Men's Golf team as they had a young roster consisting of six freshmen and sophomores, some playing collegiate golf for the first time. While the team had its share of growing pains, one player stood out as the leader for the Cardinals and made it all the way to the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional Championships, just missing a trip to Nationals by one spot. Yadhu Urs had a breakout sophomore campaign and continued that success into the summer, competing at the 89th West Virginia Open Championship that ran from June 22nd – June 24th.
