Michael Thomas Leads No. 11 CNU Men's Golf Through First Day at The Tartan Invitational

LIGONIER, Pa. — The nationally-ranked Christopher Newport men's golf team wrapped up 36 holes on day one of the Tartan Invitational in Pennsylvania on Monday sitting in 12th place out of 15 teams. The Captains rebounded from a tough first round with a second round 305 and moved up ahead of Tuesday's third and final round. Leading the way on day one was junior Michael Thomas (+7), who posted a top 20 showing on the first day.
