Minhas First, SFU Women’s Golf Second at The Southern Colorado Open

It was a record breaking day for Meera Minhas as she wins the Southern Colorado Open.  The SFU Women's Golf sophomore she set new program records for 18 and 36 holes after posting 67-73 at the Walking Stick Golf Club in Pueblo, Colorado.   Minhas' bogey free 67 in round one put her in a three way tie for first and a solid 73 in difficult afternoon winds paced her to a -4 total, tied with CSU Pueblo Senior Kylie Servin.  After four gritty holes between Minhas and Servin, weather forced the sudden death playoff to be called a tie.
