MOMENT #3: KAMINSKI & PLNU WIN THE RJGA INVITE

Moment #3: Facing their toughest field of the year, which contained seven ranked teams and the No. 4 squad in the country, the Point Loma women's golf team prevailed at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic with a six-stroke victory. The Sea Lions started the tournament strong out of the gates as they shot a 297 (+9) in round 1 to tie for the lead on opening day. In the final round, PLNU posted a tournament-low 3-under 285 as a team to win the tournament. Nicola Kaminski helped fuel the Sea Lions' second-round run as she shot a 68 (-4) in the final round to win her first career tournament. En route to her win, Kaminski defeated 13 nationally ranked golfers, including three that were ranked in the top 5.
