Mustangs fall to Dallas Baptist in match play semifinals

THACKERVILLE, Okla. — No. 1-ranked Dallas Baptist squeezed past Midwestern State 3-2 in the semifinal round of medal match play Wednesday afternoon in the Lone Star Conference Championship at the WinStar Golf Club.

Sophomore Alli Reily carded a team-low, 1-under 71 with a pair of birdies, a bogey and 15 pars to win by three strokes over DBU's Olivia Mitchell, while junior Brecklyn Flanagan notched four birdies and finished the Back Nine in 3-under to log a 1-over 73 to edge Eryn Garza by one stroke.
