NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — On a challenging first day at the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championships, the second-ranked Christopher Newport men's golf team finished a rain-soaked opening round with an impressive two-under 286. Faced with multiple weather delays, the Captains wrapped up an 11-hour day at the golf course with a record-breaking performance, setting a new CNU record for scoring in an NCAA Tournament round.
