SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. — Playing at the Par 71 King and Prince Golf Course in the first round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate, the 20th-ranked Christopher Newport men's golf team wrapped up day one tied for 12th with a 299. The Captains are sitting at +15 alongside top-ranked Methodist University and 15 strokes off the pace set by Rhodes College after the first 18 holes.
