Northwestern Surges Late; Downs Mount Marty 80-63

YANKTON, S.D. – It was a tale of two halves in South Dakota this evening for the No. 15-ranked Northwestern College women's basketball team (13-3, 8-2 GPAC), trailing at the half but erupting for 46 second half points to leave with a 17-point victory over Mount Marty University (5-13, 2-10 GPAC), 80-63, Wednesday evening. Senior Emilee Danner recorded her second double-double of the season.
