Oots Earns All-GLVC First Team Honors as Cardinals Post Highest Ever Finish at GLVC Championships

SMITHVILLE, Mo. – While battling strong winds, the William Jewell men's golf team put together their best ever showing at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship since joining the league. The Cardinals finished tied for fifth as a team, alongside Drury University, shooting a 903. The score is the fifth best in the NCAA era and placed Jewell just one spot shy of match play. Sophomore Bryson Oots tied for fourth as an individual, placing him on the All-GLVC First Team, the first such All-Conference honor for the men's golf program as members of the GLVC.
