Owls Earn Pair Of Top-Five Finishes In Spring Opener

COLUMBIA, Mo. – Opening the spring season close to home, William Woods brought home a pair of second-place team finishes along with two top-five individual trophies at the Columbia College Invitational. Maria Rozo trimmed seven shots off her round one score  to move up one place in round two, finishing with a 173 (90-83; +29) to lead the Owls to a two-day total of 779 (400-379; +203). Spencer Worley had a bigger jump on the leaderboard despite trimming just six strokes off his round one card, climbing four spots into a fourth-place finish with a two-day total of 146 (76-70; +2).
