Pablo Riveiro Named Ohio Valley Conference Co-Male Golfer of the Week

Chicago State's Pablo Riveiro was named Ohio Valley Conference Co-Male Golfer of the Week following Chicago State's team title at the 38th Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Classic. Riveiro tied for medalist honors and earned the tournament title in a playoff. He carded a two-round 138 and shot the lowest round of the tournament, a six-under 66 leading the Cougars to their first tournament win with a full Division I field en route to a program one-round record of minus-9. The Cougars started the last day of the tournament just one shot off the lead but dominated the field with a second-round 279, 10 strokes better than eventual runner up Florida A&M.
