Pearson shines in final round

DEARBORN, Mich.— Maverick graduate student Kyle Pearson made seven birdies and carded a 5-under par round of 67 in his final collegiate round to lead the Colorado Mesa University men's golf team to their best round of the tournament on Wednesday at the NCAA Division II National Championships being played here at TPC of Michigan.
