Pennington Wins West/South Central Regional Title in Playoff Fashion

Cal State San Marcos' Matt Pennington was crowned the NCAA Division II West / South Central Regional Champion after carding a 5-under 66 in the final round and defeating Midwestern State's Garrett Leek in a four-hole playoff. As a team, CSUSM tied for sixth and missed the cut by seven strokes after finishing with a 3-over 855.
