Perry punches ticket to Nationals, Falcons shine at Clemson Opener

Clemson, SC — Saint Augustine's University track & field program traveled to Clemson University on Friday to take part in the Clemson Opener against some strong field including many Division I schools including the 2022 NCAA DI Runner Up – NC A&T.  The Falcons put up some strong marks all day – including several CIAA #1 performances – but the day was perhaps highlighted by Kailen Perry (Raleigh, NC, Garner HS) who bested the 400m field in a new personal best 48.02 which exceeded the NCAA DII Qualifying standard in this event.  He currently has the 3rd fastest qualifying mark in all of DII track and field performances on the season.
