Railsplitters Excel in the Classroom in the Fall

Harrogate, TN – This past fall, the Lincoln Memorial University student athletes set a new benchmark in the classroom with a departmental Grad Point Average (GPA) of 3.51. 95 Railsplitter student athletes finished the fall semester as Splitter Scholars (3.5-3.74 term GPA) and 216 Railsplitters were named A.B.E Scholars (3.75-4.0 term GPA).  When all the grades were tallied, 63% of Railsplitters student athletes had a GPA of 3.5 or higher and 44% finished the term with a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
