Record 86 Student-Athletes earn Fall Semester Academic All-MEC Honors

Wheeling, W. Va. – On Thursday, the Mountain East Conference (MEC) honored its student-athletes for their work in the classroom with the release of their Academic All-MEC and Commissioner's Honor Roll teams. It was a record setting fall for the Wheeling University athletic department with 144 total student-athletes, with a record 86 of those athletes being on the Academic All-MEC team. Every Fall sports team at Wheeling was represented on the list, as the teams showed their competitiveness both on the field and in the classroom.
