Robinson named Track Athlete of the Year as Falcons pursue CIAA Championship

Winston-Salem, NC — The CIAA announced on Sunday that Terrell Robinson (Winston-Salem, NC, Mount Tabor HS) is the 2024 Male Track Athlete of the Year at the CIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Winston-Salem, NC.  The sophomore has had an outstanding indoor season so far after returning to the track following an injury in the 2023 season.  Terrell currently has the 2nd fastest 60m time in all of DII Indoor Track and Field.  A mark he initially set enroute to winning the event at the HBCU Showcase on the world famous Armory Track.  He later tied the mark when finishing 4th at the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Arkansas against DI and SEC powerhouse runners.  Terrell will look to defend his 2023 CIAA 60m title this weekend – where his time bests the field by nearly two tenths of a second.  He will also be one of the favorites when the Falcons head to the Plaster Center in Pittsburg, KS for the DII Indoor Track and Field National Championships on March 8-9th.
