Ryan Courtney Sets Individual Single Round Record at Dr. Wally Edgell Invitational

Elkins, W. Va. – Day 1 of the Dr. Wally Edgell Invitational was already a historic day for the Wheeling University Men's Golf program and they built on that effort on day two. The team once again broke the single-round team record, shooting a 277 in the second round of the event, and saw freshman Ryan Courtney set the new Individual Round record, shooting a 65 to finish -6 under par. The team placed third in the field overall for the event, and took a big step towards their goal of making it to day three of the MEC Championships.
