Sharks Athletic Departments Continues Excellence in Classroom

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern Sharks Athletics Department enjoyed another incredible winter semester, which featured tremendous success in both the classroom and in competition. In total, Sharks athletics won three team NCAA Division II National Championships – Women's Swimming, Men's Basketball and Men's Golf – and totaled 13 individual national titles across both men's and women's swimming, and women's golf. In the classroom, NSU student-athletes continue to raise the standard of excellence, achieving 26 consecutive semesters of a departmental grade-point-average above 3.00, while 183 were named as scholar-athletes – GPA's higher than 3.25.
