Santa Clara women's golf had by-far the best round of the day among the 10-team field at the National Golf Invitational, turning in a 3-over 291 to make a huge climb up the leaderboard. The Broncos jumped all the way up from ninth to second with the big round and are just five strokes behind the leader, Penn State, with the final round still to be played on Sunday.
