Spartans blitz field on way to sixth straight NACC Championship

The Aurora University men's golf team won the 2022-2023 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championship, the sixth consecutive year for AU. The 2023 title came in another impressive and record setting form as the Spartans won by 55 strokes with a four-round record score of 1,178. AU teammates Scott Boyajian, Jack Vercautren and Braeden Duncan battled throughout the tournament for the top spot, finishing first, second and third. Boyajian and Vercautren tied for the lead at 292 over four rounds through 72 holes and forced a playoff between the two teammates. Boyajian won the playoff and individual medalist honors.
