Stan State Ties for Sixth at Hot Dirt Desert Shootout; Chomyn Ties for Second

  Stan State shot a one-over par 288 this morning to finish the two-round Hot Dirt Desert Shootout  with an eight-over par 584 to tie with Western New Mexico for sixth place.  Colorado Christian shot a ten-under par 566 to capture the Shootout.  The Warriors' Chris Chomyn shot a one-under par 71 in the final round today to finish with a six-under par 138 to tie for second place.  He was two strokes from medalist honors, which Dallas Baptist's Sam Jenkins captured with an eight-under par 136
