Stone and Kang power women's golf on second day of CCIW Championship

Pewaukee, Wis. — Despite no change occurring in the team standings for the Wheaton women's golf team today, two Thunder golfers posted strong showings to set the pace in day two of the 2022 CCIW Championship. The Thunder remain in seventh place, sandwiched between Carthage and Carroll, but they did manage to close the gap slightly on the sixth-placed Firebirds. Wheaton now has a total team score of 728, while Carthage is sitting on a 716 mark, as the former squad edged the latter by two strokes in Friday's round.
