Tartans Open Spring at Savannah Invitational; Zhang Ties School Record for Lowest Round Shooting a Seven Under in Round Two

The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team competed in The Savannah Invitational hosted by Berry College on Monday and Tuesday. The 54-hole event was played at The Club at Savannah Harbor Golf Course. Sophomore David Zhang tied the school record for the lowest individual round in the program's history with a seven-under par 65 during the second round of play. The Tartans placed seventh after carding rounds of 289, 285 and 294 for an 868.
