Thunder Women's Golf begins fall season at Carthage's Battle on the Border event

Bristol, Wis. — The Wheaton women's golf team opened play for the fall season this weekend, traveling north to Bristol, Wisconsin to compete in Carthage College's annual "Battle on the Border" event. The Thunder ultimately placed 14th in the team standings after the scores were tallied from the two-day competition. Senior golfer Sasha Danielson led the team with a total stroke count of 176, which placed her in the top 35 of the individual standings.
