Two Cougars in top seven after two rounds as men's golf opens up at Gate City Invitational

Averett University men's golf has two players in the top seven after 36 holes of play at Greensboro College's Gate City Invitational hosted at Starmount Forest Country Club on Monday. Freshman Max Pettersson is tied for fourth at 2-under-par, while junior Antti Vahvaselka is tied for seventh at 1-under following Monday's opening day of play.
