Volleyball Earns 2022 USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the first time in program history, the Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team received recognition for its success in the classroom by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as the Toros are selected as part of 1,213 recipients for the United State Marine Corps/AVCA Team Academic Award. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale, which Dominguez Hills follows.
