Volleyball Opens KC Roos Klassic with a Split

KANSAS CITY – Playing at the Swinney Center for the first time this year, Kansas City Volleyball split a pair of matches to begin the KC Roos Klassic. The Roos fell to Southeast Missouri, 3-2 (16-25, 25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 15-11), before taking down Austin Peay, 3-1 (22-25, 25-21, 25-18, 25-13). Odyssey Warren led the Roos' attack in both matches, while the Roos' defense proved formidable, led by Carly Gillen up front and Leah Green in the back.
