Wheeler ties career-best round and is in the top 10 through 36 holes

DAVIE, Fla. – Flagler College's Sophie Wheeler tied her career-best for a round with a three-under par 68 and is ninth place with a five-over 147 through 36 holes of the South Region Preview, which was played Monday afternoon at the Grande Oaks Golf Club (par 71; 5,950 yards). Flagler, as a team, is in seventh place with a 44-over 612 (307-305). This tournament is the team's season opener.
