Wildcats Head to Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Fresh off a fourth-place finish in its last event the Kentucky men's golf team is set to begin its fourth spring event at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on Sunday.

Kentucky's starting lineup consists of Jacob Cook, Garrett Wood, Alex Goff, Campbell Kremer and Hugo Archer. Zach Norris will compete as an individual.

"The Hootie is one of our favorite events of the season," UK head coach Brian Craig said. "Bulls Bay Golf Club is a unique and challenging test of golf, and the hospitality is off the charts. We are ready to play and moving in the right direction. This would be a good week to play we know we are capable."

The first round of the tournament is scheduled for Sunday with teams teeing off the first and 10th holes beginning at 9 a.m. The second round is slated for Monday starting at 9 a.m., and the third and final round will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Wildcats will also be playing to help donate to the Any Given Tuesday's GoFund me for the victims of the horrific tragedy involving the University of the Southwest golf program. Fans, friends and families of the UK men's golf program are encouraged to donate based on every birdie the Wildcats make this week at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate.
