Will O’Neill Clinches a Top 10 Spot at NJ 120th Amateur Championship

WASHINGTON – It was an eventful week for Georgetown men's golf member Will O'Neill as he finished top ten in the 120th Amateur Championship for the state of New Jersey. O'Neill, a rising senior on the team, competed against 90 opponents in the tournament's 72-hole stroke play to move into the 40 player pool for the championship. The three day long championship was held at Essex Fells Country Club in Essex Fells, New Jersey from July 6-8 with qualifying beginning in early June.
