[Women's Golf] Bears eighth after opening day of UPike Invitational

The women's golf program at Shawnee State finished eighth following the first of the two-day UPike Invitational, which is being held at Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, Ky.Skylar Sayre, for the third consecutive round to begin the women's season, shot the low round with a 98, while Erika Martin followed with a 100 as the pair led SSU with 35th and 39th place finishes. Emilee Carey's 105 and Alaina Collins' 107 led to the duo collecting to a 42nd and a 45th place finish to round out the Bears' efforts.
