[Women's Golf] Macy Stapp Advances as Individual, Knights Finish 18th at NAIA Championship

Oklahoma City, Okla. – The Marian women's golf team wrapped up their strong 2020-21 campaign, finishing 18th as a team at the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship. The Knights carded a 320 in round one on Tuesday, before turning in a strong team score of 307 on Wednesday to turn in a two-day total of 627, which ties Marian's best 36-hole score of the season. Marian's finish is the second best in program history at the championship event, while the score of 627 is the top two-round score in the program's 17-year history at the NAIA Championship.Junior Macy Stapp has kept her season alive after two days of strong play, as she sits tied for 37th with a two-round score of 152. Stapp's score put her above the cut-line, allowing her to advance in the NAIA Championship as an individual.
