[Women's Golf] Salyers earns MSC all-conference honors

For two seasons, an all-conference honor has been the thinnest of margins away for Georgetown College women's golfer Baylee Salyers – one single stroke. Her freshman year it was MSC Freshman of the year, and last year her sophomore year it was all-conference honors. She set a goal to not let that be the case this year. While the junior was not pleased with how she finished her third year as a Tiger on the course, her accomplishments are clear and goal achieved. Wednesday afternoon, after three rounds at the MSC Championship in Bowling Green, Ky., she was named MSC All-Conference second-team. She was only one of 14 women to receive first or second team honors.Georgetown as a whole had an up and down outing, finishing sixth, in extremely windy conditions. However, GC coach and former Tiger golfer Marlene Nall Schulte sees how this year really put another layer on the team taking strides forward.
