Aberg named Big 12 Player of the Year

IRVING, Texas – Following an impressive season the culminated with him being named the recipient of all three major National Player of the Year awards as well as earning his full PGA TOUR card, former Texas Tech senior Ludvig Aberg was selected as the 2023 Big 12 Player of the Year, the conference announced Thursday.
 
After earning the honor, Aberg joins his countryman Fredrick Nilehn as the only two players to win Big 12 Player of the Year in school history.
