Campbell Leads Women’s Golf at PSAC Championships

KUTZTOWN – Senior Shannon Campbell finished tied for 30th in a field of 49 with a 72-hole total of 278 to lead the East Stroudsburg University women's golf team at the 2022 PSAC Women's Golf Championships, held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Berkleigh Golf Club.

With only three golfers competing, ESU did not record a finish in the team standings. Gannon (953) won the team title by 42 strokes over Mercyhurst (995), followed by Cal U (1011), Millersville (1028), West Chester (1049), Kutztown (1080), Bloomsburg (1096), Clarion (1145) and Seton Hill (1208).

Campbell carded rounds of 89, 96 and 93 on the par-72 course for a +62.

Junior Mariah Minter placed tied for 35th with a three-day score of 282 (+66) and freshman Samantha Young fired a 286 (+70) in 38th.

Gannon's Sarah White was the individual champion by one stroke, carding a 238 (77, 84, 77).
