FSU Golf Places 2nd in Rendleman Invitational

SALISBURY, NC – The Fayetteville State's Golf team finished second in Catawba College's Richard & Patsy Rendleman Golf Invitational held at the Country Club of Salisbury. Freshman Logan Atkins brought home the Low Medalist Award as he led all golfers with a scorecard of six-under par, 207.  The Broncos maintained the leaderboard through the first two rounds after scores of 292 and 288, but a final round of 305 gave Catawba (875; 299, 286, and 290) the victory. FSU (886 final score) finished above Erskin (893), Emory and Henry (902), Virginia at Wise (906) and Catawba's B-Team (951).
