[Golf] Benedictine Mesa Golf Hosts Redhawk Rumble Tournament

The Benedictine University Mesa golf program kicked off the Redhawk Rumble golf tournament earlier this week at the Red Mountain Ranch Country Club. The two-day event had over 50 individuals participating, representing programs from Benedictine Mesa, Ottawa (AZ), Park-Gilbert, Arizona Christian University, Northwestern College (IA), Kansas Wesleyan University, as well as Mesa Community College. The men's program finished tied for 4th in the tournament. The Redhawks had strong play from Cameron Hedge, who finished tied for 9th for the tournament after shooting 76 (+4) on day two. Zach Holesinger finished tied for 13th with Sebastian Carranza and Nacho Garcia finishing tied for 16th. For the women, Araceli Barajas finished 19th overall after competing in the event as an individual. Ottawa University Arizona came away with victories in both the team and player leaderboards for the men's tournament. The women's tournament saw Mesa Community College sweep the team and individual medalist awards.
