[Golf] Holesinger Leads the Redhawks at ACU Invitational

The Benedictine University's mens golf team continued its season with a fourth-place finish Tuesday afternoon at the three-day ACU Invitational Tournament at Verrado Golf Club in Buckeye, AZ. The Redhawks shot 887 as a team in the three-round event with Zack Holesinger leading the way for Benedictine, shooting two-over (218) while also finishing tied for 6th overall. Holesinger finished the first day at par with 72, the second day three-under at 69, and finished out the tournament at 77 bringing him to a total of two-over.Tony Bonadonna was not too far behind Holesinger finishing just five-over 221. Bonadonna finished the first two days at 75, just three-over par, and finished the final day of the tournament one-under at 71. Bonadonna finished tied for 13th overall.For the women, Araceli Barajas competed in the tournament as an individual. Barajas shot rounds of 84 and 88 for a 28-over 172, tied for 20th overall in the 32-golfer field.
